Cover Song – Mr Blue Sky (Electric Light Orchestra)
I got a little sidetracked to start off the year. Not how I expected this to go, but there’s always going to be bumps in the road. What happened is I inherited a home improvement project that’s been taking a lot of my time lately, and I hope to be finished with it soon. I need to get back to the music.
In the meantime, here’s a cover song I recorded late last year. My brother, who was a huge ELO fan, requested this one on several occasions, but I kept putting it off and putting it off. Sadly, he passed away in July of 2022 before I had a chance to complete it for him. I never usually turned down his challenges but could never find any time. Also, this is one of those songs that has a lot going on for one person to do, but I took on the challenge anyway. Dave, this one’s for you. Rock on big bro!
