She’s a “Jingle Bells” Woman

I wrote a Christmas song! Well…no, I didn’t actually write one. It’s more of an arrangement kind of thing, mashing up Jingle Bells, and She’s A Woman by The Beatles. I’ve been wanting to do some Christmas songs for awhile now and thought I would start out with some simple like Jingle Bells. It only needed three chords which fit in just right with She’s A Woman, but sped up a bit. And I knew people were clamoring for another version of Jingle Bells (am I right?!), so I thought I’d deliver the goods!

Some interesting, or maybe not so interesting, facts about Jingle Bells. Jingle Bells was written by James Lord Pierpont in Medford, Massachusetts in 1857. You all remember him. It was originally titled “The One Horse Open Sleigh” and was written for a Sunday school choir to be sung for Thanksgiving. It was also one of the first songs broadcast in space by astronauts Tom Stafford and Wally Schirra back in 1965. It’s all right there in Wikipedia. Go check it out. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jingle_Bells

Here’s the song (and my dog). Hope you enjoy it! Merry Christmas!
